Based on the description found in Lovecraft’s “The Call of Cthulhu,” Takayuki Takeya has reimagined the Great Old One, making for a statue like you’ve never seen before.

The masterful sculpting and paintwork were done by Takayuki Takeya himself. Cthulhu stands atop a base representing the ruins of the sunken city of R’lyeh and its non-Euclidean geometry.
